Solicitations - Direct-Dial Telephone.

July 29, 1980

It is not ethically impermissible for an attorney to include his name and

address on the profile of a direct-dial phone system located in the local

police or sheriffs department, as a means of providing ready access to

legal representation for arrestees, unless such activities are deceptive

or misleading. [See II: DR:2-102(A).]
