COVID-19 POLICY for The Bobzien Gaither Education Center, other in-person seminars, and all VLF events (As of March 2, 2022)
Masking – Masking is required for those who are unvaccinated. It is still strongly recommended for vaccinated individuals though not required. Unvaccinated attendees, faculty, and staff shall always wear properly fitting masks, covering the mouth and nose, while indoors except while in the actual act of eating and drinking. Virginia Law Foundation will consider requests for accommodation to the masking requirements due to an applicant’s disability. If you would like to request an accommodation to these requirements due to a disability, please send an e-mail to sfisher@vacle.org setting forth your request.
Illness – Any attendee, faculty, or staff member exhibiting symptoms including but not limited to apparent cold of flu-like symptoms, feverish, digestive discomfort, or any other symptom that might be linked to typical COVID-19 symptoms within 24 hours of the seminar shall not attend any portion of any Virginia CLE® program.
By attending a live-on-site Virginia CLE® seminar, you acknowledge the health risks associated with COVID-19 and that you MUST follow all Virginia CLE® COVID-19 policies. You may NOT attend a live-on-site program if you have tested positive for COVID-19, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or if you are under any self-quarantine orders per CDC guidelines.
Please revisit this page routinely for updates, as we are monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation. THIS GUIDANCE MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME AND BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. All updates to this policy will be emailed to registrants in a timely manner.
Questions or concerns regarding Virginia CLE’s COVID-19 policy may be directed to tmoore@virginialawfoundation.org.
Note: This change in policy does NOT apply to seminars at our Charlottesville facility.
