Former Partner as Opposing Party - Conflict of Interest.

It is not improper for an attorney to represent a creditor against an endorser of a corporation's promissory note where the corporation is represented by the attorney's former law partner and had been represented by that partner when the partnership relationship existed, so long as the attorney had no knowledge of the corporation's affairs whatsoever. [See II: DR:5-105(D).]
