Associate, Spouse Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney — Paralegal, Spouse Commonwealth's Attorney.

It is not improper for members of a law firm which employs an associate whose spouse is an assistant commonwealth's attorney to represent clients in traffic and/or criminal cases in which the associate's spouse is representing the Commonwealth. It is not improper for members of a law firm which employs a paralegal whose spouse is the commonwealth's attorney to represent clients in traffic and/or criminal matters in which the spouse's husband is representing the Commonwealth. Approval in both instances is predicated upon the members of the law firm advising the respective clients of the relationships involved and also advising the court.
