LEO: Commonwealth's Attorney - Personal Injury LE Op. 429
Commonwealth's Attorney - Personal Injury Cases.
August 14, 1981
It is ethically permissible for members of a firm to handle personal injury cases arising out of automobile accidents in a jurisdiction where the son of a partner in the firm is Commonwealth's Attorney or Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney. Whether an actual or apparent impropriety will arise must be reviewed on a case by case basis. [See II: DR:5-101(A).]
