Matthew D. Meadows is a shareholder, member of the Business Law Practice Group and chairman of the Real Estate Practice Group at Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly. Matt also actively represents clients in forming new businesses, selling and purchasing existing businesses and regularly lectures on the topic of choosing the appropriate entity for small business owners.
Matt also handles residential and commercial loan transactions. In addition to his real estate & business law practice, Matt also actively represents clients in civil litigation, including both jury and bench trials. He practices regularly in the Circuit Courts and General District Courts throughout Southeastern Virginia.

Joe Verser is a trial attorney handling a broad range of civil litigation matters in state and federal court to include personal injury, business litigation, real estate litigation, and disputes involving wills, trusts and estates. Mr. Verser has been included each year in Virginia Super Lawyers since 2014 in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury and previously as a “Rising Star.” He has also been honored for selection in “Top Lawyers” for Coastal Virginia Magazine each year since 2015. Mr. Verser is a Past President of the Newport News Bar Association. He also is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association.
Mr. Verser has represented clients that have been seriously injured in automobile collisions, tractor-trailer crashes, as well as victims of medical malpractice and defective products. He has also represented businesses and business owners in cases involving shareholder derivative claims, fraud, conspiracy, defamation, and other business torts.
