A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of the April 2023 webcast, Rules of Evidence in Virginia: Authentication and Privileges.
In many cases, the outcome of a trial comes down to the evidence. It is important for counsel to be familiar with the rules of evidence, because even the best evidence is useless if it cannot be admitted. This program examines two of the rules: authentication and privileges. Learn about the practical applications of these rules to authenticate any piece of evidence, and understand what evidence may be protected because it involves communications with special relationships based on confidentiality.
Join us for a discussion on these two important rules of evidence with an experienced civil litigator who guides you through the basics and best practices when it comes to authentication and privileges.
