A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of one session from the November 2022 live seminar, 43rd Annual Construction Law and Public Contracts.
Cosponsored with the Construction Law and Public Contracts Section of the Virginia State Bar
This seminar provides an overview of The Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project which began in December 2017 and associated express lanes finished in December 2022. The $3.7B project entails such improvements as 22.5 miles of new dynamically tolled Express Lanes from I-495 to near Route 29 in Gainesville, new and improved bus and transit routes and park and ride lots and 11 miles of new bike and pedestrian trails including shared-use trails along I-66 that integrate with local trails, and new crossings of I-66. The project is a public-private partnership between the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT), and private partner I-66 Express Mobility Partners.
