The health care industry is a large and growing part of the economy. All aspects of health care—and the regulations that govern it—are complex and ever-changing. Litigators and transactional attorneys alike often deal with health care providers and come across a range of health law issues.
Highlighting key state and federal laws, this overview of the statutory and regulatory framework governing health care will help practitioners to spot important issues affecting their own practice areas and to know when it is necessary to seek the assistance of a health care attorney.
